18-year-old New Jersey resident Jacob Rudolph was voted "Class Actor" for his senior class awards at Parsippany High School. While accepting the award, he took the opportunity at the podium to make a statement about who he is - taking a stand for equality and acceptance. The response was a standing ovation.

Good for him - and good for his accepting classmates! The bigots will be posting shortly as they will start quoting the Bible but forget that they shouldnt be eating shrimp or lobster. They shouldnt be getting thier hair cut and they should be selling thier daughters into slavery - all approved by the Bible - check
But back to the kid - WOO HOO! You rock!
