SPOILER ALERT! Two boys were none too thrilled by the ending to the film The Odd Life of Timothy Green. Unfortunately for them, their parents recorded their reactions and posted the video to YouTube.
FULL DISCLOSURE: The Odd Life of Timothy Green is a Disney film. Disney is the parent company to 6abc.
The parents are awful. It's disturbing they thought this was funny.

It is too bad that these parents didn't take this opportunity to teach their boys, rather than laugh at them. They could have explained that the movie is a metaphor or an analogy for the relationship between parents and their children.
Parents only have their kids for a short time...and the kids have metaphorical leaves which they lose each time they learn a new lesson or skill that allows them to "grow up", become more independent...until around age 18-20, when they have lost all of their "leaves", they, too, "leave"....not DIE...to become independent adults. (Parents also learn lessons along the way from the mistakes they make...and are often much better grandparents as a result!)
