15-year-old high school freshman Jack Andraka was awarded the $75,000 grand prize at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair this week for his development of a new method to detect pancreatic cancer. In the video above he explains his invention, how he came up with the idea, and its application toward other potentially fatal cancers.
